Freeze Your Credit

Placing a freeze on your credit file prevents new lines of credit from being opened without your direct permission. Place, lift or delete a freeze at any time at no charge; just make sure to keep your PIN in a safe place. It’s also a good idea to freeze your children’s credit to protect against child identity theft.
