Instantly Turn Your Credit Card On or Off
Have you ever reached for your wallet to discover that your credit card isn’t where you thought it was?
Worry no more—your Visa credit card experience is more powerful than ever! You now have the power to turn your REGIONAL Visa credit card on and off with two clicks.
If you misplace your REGIONAL federal credit union Credit Card, you can freeze the card while you locate it. Once you find the card, you can unfreeze it in seconds and continue using it as before. And, if you're unable to locate your card, you can report the loss online on the Visa portal or call 1-800-449-7728.
How to Enroll
To take advantage of this new feature all you have to do is enroll your card in online access. It only takes a few seconds!
- Login to Online Banking through your browser (enrollment does not work on the mobile app)
- Select "Online Services" in menu bar
- Select Visa Payment/Statements
- Enter your credit card number, last 4 digits of your Social Security number, date of birth, and zip code
The system will then send a one-time code to your email address OR phone number (text) associated with the account. Enter this code and you will be taken to the new Visa site, where you can freeze or unfreeze your card.
How to Freeze or Unfreeze Your Card
Once you've enrolled in online card access, it only takes two clicks to to freeze or unfreeze your credit card.
To freeze, login to credit card online access and click the green "Lock Card" button, then confirm that your card will not be able to be used.
To unfreeze a card, click the red "Unlock Card" button, confirm, and your card is once again able to be used.
