Job Openings: Vice President of Lending

Duties:

REGIONAL federal credit union a growing and leading provider of banking products and services in Northwest Indiana is seeking an experienced Vice President of Lending to join our team. Responsibilities include:

• Direct the lending and collection operations of the credit union regarding policies, guidelines, procedures, products to ensure accuracy, consistency, and goal attainment
• Analyze lending production in relation to budgetary and marketing goals
• Provide excellent communication within all levels of the credit union
• Meet and support organizational and lending sales and service goals
• Maintain superior levels of member service, while managing member and team expectations
• Possess effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Desire to excel in a team environment
• Communicate with members regarding lending questions, delinquency, and decisions, including alternative lending options

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in lending (mortgage, consumer and commercial) and collections operations
• Experience in managing and coaching lending teams
• Proven loan underwriting skills
• Understanding and experience in developing Loan Origination Systems
• Demonstrated sales skills
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from credit union teammates, members, vendors, and third-party partners
• Possess a strong understanding of lending rules, regulations, and policies
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel programs
